Dear Friends and Relatives,
It has been a little while since our last newsletter for a few reasons...all of which are good, but busy ones. Earlier this year I was on "tour" with my boss..., Wayne Newton. It is always great fun being a part of the orchestra and playing cello for him on stage. That does, however, make more "catch-up" work for me when I get back home.
As the saga of Jocarta continues..., we managed to breed both of our beautiful Boxer females this year for two of the prettiest litters of puppies we have had to date. We would like to thank the gracious "stud" owners, Jody Holmes and Velda Rounsaville, for their help, and "services" of their "boys". We would also like to thank Velda's daughter, Vickie Millard, for her talents at webpage designing, and getting this "show crew" on the Internet. What talent!!! We of course would like to pay special tribute to our longtime friend... A lady who not only got us started with a top female, but introduced us to the above stud owners... Ms. Terri Houston. None of this hard work matters at all unless you find good owners who commit themselves to continue the challenge of maintaining the Boxer's standard of excellence. We would like to thank our repeat customers, Jenny Bishop and Darla Sparks, and our new clients, Cheri Barr, Jan Brinkmann, and Jodi Holmes (who took "pick" of the litter sired by her stud.) Darla will be taking an additional puppy from our second litter back to her sister in California.
Rumor has it that "The Rumor" has returned to Cadron Creek Arabians where he is courting two of our mares. We aren't letting him just have fun however, he is in full conditioning for a show we have our eyes on entering him in this October. We know we can't always have what we want though, and even though it is tax deductible throughout the year, it's hard to wait for them to "grow up into swans". Thank you Cadron Creek Arabians, and staff, for all your continued "support" services, educational seminars, and wonderful parties!!!
We hope all is well with you and yours, and that we hear from you soon. |
