This elegant Alidaar granddaughter, sired by *Shahir (by Salaa El Dine) is now Jocarta’s leading broodmare. Her first foal (a filly) sold “in utero”, and her 2nd foal (another filly) has been retained for our broodmare band (see below.) JC Tashah is in foal to the recently re-imported 19-yr-old World & All Nations Cup Champion Stallion... Hadidi (by Norus). That foal is due to arrive 10/10/10. Strain: Dahmah Shahwaniya.
Injured at birth, Jocarta was recently able to secure this extremely classic-headed maiden mare to join our broodmares in 2010. She will also be bred to The Rumor for a 2011 foal, and that foal will be available “in utero”. Strain: Kuhaylah Rodaniya
She’s linebred “Salaa El Dine (by Ansata Halim Shah).” This typy maiden mare will be bred in 2010 for a 2011 foal to the “hidden” Ruminaja Ali son, The Rumor, who is linebred Shaikh Al Badi. (This foal will be available for purchase “in utero”.) Strain: Dahman Shahwaniya
Foaled April 30, 2005. Extremely elegant grey straight Egyptian filly. She has a "floating trot" that takes your breath away, and it's all packed into one super "typy", classic package. She is being retained by Jocarta, and we can't wait for her to grow up. We would like to thank Nandavi Arabians for allowing us to lease her dam, Kaleel, which made this filly of our dreams possible. Strain: Kuhaylah Rodaniya
MKC Mystique
(Thee Master x Amiri Meliss, by: Say Amen)
While no stallion may be worth 10 million dollars, that’s what MKC Mystique’s grandsire syndicated for back in the 1980’s. She is linebred *Morafic, and is in foal to The Rumor for a linebred 2010 Ruminaja Ali foal. Strain: Dahmah Shahwaniya.
She has color, a gorgeous long neck, beautiful head, super straight legs, and she’s extremely people friendly. Now all she needs is a boyfriend to match! Strain: Saqlawiah
Foaled April 28, 2005. This flashy bay purebred Egyptian-sired filly is destined for the show ring. She has it all, color, type, motion, and attitude. Bred by Jocarta, and proudly owned by Mr. Mark Johnsen of Las Vegas, Nevada.
"In Utero"
What does an "in utero" purchase entail ? Purchasing a foal "in utero" simply put... means that the buyer can select the sex, and even in some instances the color, of the foal he wishes to own prior to birth at a greatly reduced price. (Prices are based on the established market value of foals of this quality once they hit the ground, and an "in utero" price is one that is discounted to nearly half price.) With a nominal earnest money deposit and signed contract, the buyers hold the foal off the open market, and have 30 days from the date of birth to either accept or refuse the resulting foal. At that time their monies will either be refunded within 10 days, or applied toward the next available foal. This is how we curb ourselves from wanting to keep them and raising their prices, and buyers get the benefit... while holding us to it in writing.
